Is The Site Legit Online Surveys A Scam?
Legit Online Surveys is yet another site collecting money to take paid online surveys. Jose Garcia, a 4-year survey taker, is supposedly the creator of the site. I’m not sure if this is a newer site or not, but I was unable to find any reviews from anyone who’s actually used it. The site itself looks very amateur and provides little information. It is advertised in the Click Bank marketplace, but it doesn’t look like it’s getting much attention. I’m not concluding that it’s a scam, but I don’t recommend spending money to take any surveys when there are countless places to do this online free of charge.
There are quite a few payment proofs shown, with allegedly authentic PayPal screenshots and some checks. Keep in mind that screenshots for payment proofs are easily manipulated. I give them credit though that the payments are not outrageously high like you normally would see.
There are several survey sites that are very similar to Legit Online Surveys and many of them are in fact scams, which makes me doubt its legitimacy. This site doesn’t seem much different than the other fee-based sites out there, with the exception of the payment proofs that are realistic, as to what you can actually make from surveys. Mostly it’s the look of these types of sites that makes them look even more suspicious. On the homepage of Legit Online Surveys, a girl holding a wad of cash, stands in front of a pile of money, with nearby text reading “Our Site Is A Must For Surveys You Can Trust”.
There really isn’t too much information about Legit Online Surveys, aside from an FAQ, but their website says: “LegitOnlineSurveys.com is a survey membership website that teaches it members how to maximize their earnings with legit surveys panels and other bonuses.”
Legit Online Surveys does not provide their own surveys. They are a database, or directory, that houses a list of survey panels, so you would pay to have access to these panels and then have to sign up separately for each one. The biggest problem with this concept is that you don’t know anything about the sites in their database until after you pay. Are the sites in the database legit? Are they free, or do you have to pay more money to take surveys on those sites too?
Since Legit Online Surveys is not responsible for the actions taken by the sites in its database, the risk is really all on you and the survey sites could do whatever they want. It costs a one-time fee of $34.95 to sign up. They claim to provide a risk-free guarantee and will return your money within 60 days if you’re unhappy with your experience. While there’s no confirmation of this site being a scam, or a legitimate place to take surveys, it really isn’t a good idea to pay money for surveys, period. There is just way too much of a risk involved.
Instead of risking getting screwed over by Legit Online Surveys, I recommend signing up for the free and legitimate survey site CashCrate. It’s free and there is absolutely no obligation to sign up and make money from the site. They provide at least 10 daily surveys and tons of offers that pay pretty well. If you have used Legit Online Surveys, please leave a comment, good or bad.
