Market research companies provide paid survey sites where you can simply ask questions and get paid in return. There are literally hundreds of sites on the internet where you can take online surveys for money.

Although you can make some decent money taking online paid surveys, you are not going to make a full time living out of it. If you think you will make a lot of money from surveys, you are going to be truly disappointed. However, you can definitely make a decent amount of extra gas money in your spare time.

Depending on the paid survey site you sign up with, it is  possible to make a couple hundred bucks per month from paid online surveys. It does take some time to complete them though and you won’t always qualify for every single one you take.

Two of the best free sites to use for paid online surveys (at least from my experience) are CashCrate and SurveySavvy. Both of them are good sites but you can earn money faster using CashCrate, which pays via check after you earn $20. SurveySavvy provides only paid surveys and nothing else, while CashCrate has surveys, paid offers, games and cashback shopping privileges.

There are many good sites for taking surveys, but use caution, but there are also a lot of crappy sites that will try and get you to pay money before joining. Do not pay for surveys online ever. There are too many free sites that are legit and safe to use. I recommend the two sites I mentioned earlier.

Paid online surveys are good for teenagers or stay at home moms in need of some extra cash. Surveys pay anywhere between $.50 to $10 per survey and there are some focus group sites that pay up to $50.

Several paid online survey sites provide paid trial offers, in addition to the surveys. I have found that paid trial offers generally pay more than taking free paid surveys and they also tend to be faster to complete.

The downside to getting paid to take surveys is that it does takes time and you don’t earn passive income. You have to put the time in every day if you want to make any decent money from a survey site at the end of the month.

If you don’t like sitting at the computer answering dozens of questions all day long, you probably won’t want to take surveys for money. To make the most money with paid online surveys, it is best to use several legitimate sites and use them frequently. Respond to all of the paid survey invitations that you receive by email and remain truthful when answering questions in the survey.
