Making Money Online From Paid Surveys Vs. Paid Offers

Most paid online survey sites, and GPT (get paid to) sites, provide listings for available incentive offers. The pay-out for such tasks is anywhere between $1 to $50, or greater, depending on the complexity of the offer. Filling out offers is a little different than doing surveys for money, but usually pays more than most surveys. Most people opt for paid surveys though because they’re less complicated, however, you shouldn’t always ignore offers, because you can make a lot of money online from them if you do it right.

Filling out offers does not always require use of your credit card like some people think, but the ones that do require a credit card always pay more. Before you choose any offer to fill out, it’s important to understand exactly what the offer involves. It is safe to make money this way if you choose the right offer to fill out. One of the reasons that paid offers get a bad reputation is because there are some really shady sites that disguise offers as paid surveys. People think they’re filling out a paid online survey then minutes later they’re being asked to sign up for products or services they don’t want.

Here are some of the different types of offers that can be completed for money:

100% Free Offers

Not all paid online survey sites provide offers that are totally free, but many do. These types of offers usually involve a free trial for a web-based service like an online dating site, Netflix or something similar. In this case, nothing will be mailed to your home usually, which is a good thing. You don’t want to have to test a product or deal with shipping, unless the payout is good enough. To make money, you would simply fill out the offer form accordingly and follow the instructions to complete the transaction. These are the easiest ones to fill out.

Test Products for Money

A company would send product samples to your home. You sample the product according to the provided instructions and get paid in return. Sometimes there is no credit card required, but in most cases there is, since items are being shipped to your home. However, some survey sites claim they will reimburse you for the cost when you send the items back or after you have completed the offer. I know there are some legit paid survey sites that do this, but there are also other sites that send the products to your home and then never pay you after you ‘test’ the product. Do your homework before signing up.

Paid Email

Most GPT sites send out paid email messages as a way to directly advertise their products. You get paid when you open the email message that reveals the offer inside. The pay per email click is terrible, usually less than 2 cents, but the offer inside pays much more. The major downside here is that you will receive tons of spam after you fill them out. Even if you’re only clicking the email messages for money, use a separate email address, not your primary address, or you’ll be sorry.

Paid Trial Offers

Most require a credit card. Always read the TOS before you fill these out, otherwise you could really screw yourself over. You must remember to cancel the trial before it runs out, or you card will be charged a fee of at least $30 in most cases. I did an offer one time for a company that sent me some instructional videos. I cancelled the trial before it expired, but I was told I had to mail back part of the package I received or I would be charged on my credit card. I was lucky I wasn’t charged. Some companies have complex cancellation terms that screw people out of cancelling a free trial without paying a fee. Read the fine print ahead of time and you’ll be fine.

Which one is better, paid online surveys or paid offers?

Both are fine, but it depends on how you like to make money online. Surveys usually pay less than offers and they also take a lot of time to finish. Most surveys take at least 20 minutes, if not longer to fill out. You can make good money from surveys, but there’s a lot more money to be made faster, simply by completing offers on sites like Project Payday. My highest day of earnings there was close to $300, all from doing offers. It did take a lot of time, but still, $300 is pretty damn good for one day of work. Sign up yourself and take a look around the site to see if they have anything that interests you. It’s free.

Using paid online surveys and offers is a good way to get the most out of the GPT sites you’re using. Sometimes surveys run out and paid offers can be a good alternative. Either way, I hope you found this article useful. Thanks for reading.
