Maximum Paid Surveys Scam? Read My Review

Is Maximum Paid Surveys a scam and is it worth the money? I’m not deeming it a scam, but I do recommend you stay away from it. The company is supposedly based out of San Diego. There is also a very similar site called Paid Surveys At Home, which is also based out of San Diego. Both sites even charge the same fee of $39.95. I  wouldn’t be surprised if the same people are behind both sites. Maximum Paid Surveys acts as a directory, which provides access to other survey sites that allegedly pay very well. According to their site, you can make up to $50 taking paid online surveys at home, $250 for focus groups, $150 for mystery shopping and up to $25 trying new products.

The problem is that there are several sites like this and the majority of them are either scams or a ripoff. People sign up in a hurry and pay money, hoping to rake in hundreds or thousands of dollars per month from paid surveys, only to end up earning very little money, or nothing at all.

Maximum Paid Surveys tries hard to push the whole trust and convenience factor in their marketing to lure you in. What I mean is that in their sales copy, they talk about the frustration and risk associated with having to search the Web and sign up with individual survey sites that could be scams or pay little money. They claim that their site is safe and convenient because you have access to high paying surveys all in one place. The problem is that you don’t know anything about the survey companies inside their database until after you pay them and that, in my opinion, is a risk. For all you know, the survey companies could be scams, or not even free.

If you surf the Internet about this company, you will find mostly promotional reviews written by its affiliates. Don’t fall for the hype and marketing tactics. Dig deeper. Maximum Paid Surveys is a product that’s heavily promoted by affiliates on Click Bank. The truth is that most promotional affiliate reviews about sites like this are written by people who have never even used the site themselves. They just want to make money from the sale.

Maximum Paid Surveys, in my opinion, is a scam. I paid the $, followed all the directions, and every survey I have taken has resulted in a “sweepstakes entry” or a message, after answering many questions, sometimes 20-30 mins. of my time, that says I don’t meet the criteria for this survey. I have NEVER gotten a dime for any work I have done for any company through MPS. When I requested a refund, I never received any kind of reply. Stay away from this company.

I also checked their Better Business Bureau page and they currently have an ‘F’ rating. While there could very well be some people who have successfully used this company, do you think it’s really worth risking getting ripped off? The bottom line is that you should never have to pay to take any surveys online, period. Sites like this one often exaggerate the amount of money you can make from surveys, to entice people to sign up and fork over their money. The reality is that the majority of free legitimate survey sites pay only a few bucks each, at the most. Many sites only pay $1 per survey. I can tell you for sure that there’s no way you’re going to make $250 for focus groups and $50 per paid online survey.

I think it’s obvious to see that forking over your hard-earned money to a site like Maximum Paid Surveys is a bad idea. You don’t have to pay money to make money from surveys. The best alternative is the free and totally legitimate survey site CashCrate. They provide surveys, offers and additional ways to make money online. The best part is you can sign up and start taking surveys right away to make money. It’s a good place to make some extra money when needed, or even a couple hundred per month if you have the time.
