Top Paying Surveys Scam? Buyer Beware

Yes, in my opinion, rumors of a Top Paying Surveys scam are real and I strongly urge you to stay far away from subscription-based survey sites. I want to point out that paid online surveys are not all scams. There are dozens of legit places online where you can safely take surveys for money, but I don’t believe this site is one of them. First off, Top Paying Surveys is not even a survey site.

It’s Not Free

There are dozens of bogus subscription-based survey sites charging pricey fees for access to surveys that supposedly pay the highest on the Internet and Top Paying Surveys is no different. The site charges a whopping one-time fee of $39.95, which is said to grant unlimited access to the site.

I have never used the site, and don’t plan on it,  but I consider it to be a scam simply because their business model is deceptive and most importantly, it isn’t free. It is nothing more than an expensive directory for survey sites that you could otherwise find and use entirely free of charge on your own, so why are they charging nearly $40?

What’s In It For You?

Top Paying Surveys claims their $39.95 fee provides you with free training and the convenience of having the best paid surveys all in one place. I looked into this and many people report that the ‘training’ they received was nothing more than spam emails for free trial offers. Basically, the training will end up costing you more money for crappy products that you don’t need.

Also, you have no way of knowing anything about the survey sites in the directory before you pay, so there are no guarantees that you will be dealing with legit sites that are not going to rip you off even more. And since you would be using a directory, you would have to sign up for each site in the directory individually, which means you would be submitting personal information multiple times to sites you know nothing about. You are much better off reading reviews and conducting sensible research to find the best paid survey sites.

Top Paid Surveys Hype

Top Paying Surveys, as well as every other membership-based survey site, promises access to big money surveys, but of course, only after you enter your credit card number. The truth is that there are no big money surveys that you can take on a regular basis. Focus groups and high paying surveys are not readily available and also not easy to qualify for.
