Work At Home Assembly Jobs: Is It A Scam?

Work at home assembly jobs have a reputation for being scams. There are legitimate companies that will pay you to assemble products from home, however, the majority of them are scams which makes it hard to find the real ones. The amount of money you can make assembling products at home depends on the company, the types of assembly products obviously and whether you decide to sell the products yourself or mail them back to the company, which pays less.  Home assembly does not bring much profit.

Assembling products for money requires experience, patience and money. It’s not free. You will need to pay for a starter kit and also the postage to mail the products back. The work is not always easy and you will have to assemble dozens of products day after day to make a profit. You can assemble CD cases, crafts and jewelry from home. There are dozens of crafts to assemble for work at home assembly jobs.

If you are assembling crafts for money, you need to make sure every product is assembled to perfection because the company will pass or fail it upon inspection. This leads to all sorts of problems with scams, since the home assembly company can technically say the product wasn’t assembled correctly and never pay you. There are also companies who take your money for starter kits, but never send anything in return.

If you find a legitimate home assembly company, it is more profitable to purchase a complete assembly kit, assemble the products and sell them yourself at a local crafts store, Craigslist, or  a flea market. Mailing the assembled items back to the company, like most people do,  earns less profit because the company still has to resell the product to someone else, so they pay you less so they can make a profit. Not only that, but you will have to pay for the postage to mail the items back and it’s not guaranteed  that the company will even accept the products.

In my opinion, work at home assembly jobs are probably one of the worst ways to make money from home. There are far better ways to earn money working from home. Instead of taking the unnecessary risks and lousy profit, visit this free legitimate site, which provides a real opportunity to work from home on the Internet. When you visit the site, scroll down the page to the sign up box and enter your name, email and choose a password to get started.

If you decide to pursue home assembly, you will need to spend the time to find a legit company with a refund policy. This is because, no matter what, you have to fork over money to buy an assembly kit. This is a home-based business, not a job. Not only is it important to find a legit work from home assembly company, but it’s also important to compare prices on kits. The best way to find good work from home assembly jobs is to find a company with a real physical address, not a P.O. box, a live customer service line and good reviews.

Stay away from those ads that sound too good to be true because they are most likely scams. Ads reading “Earn $5,000 per week assembling products at home” are obviously fake and should be avoided at all costs. Compare the profit potential between companies. Some home assembly companies claim to pay $1 – $2 per assembled item. Factor in the number of items in each kit, the likely amount of time required to assemble the items and the cost for the kit. Conduct thorough research on a company before paying or signing up. Good luck.
